Overview[edit]
Vanessa is one of the two launch operators in DEAD: Doomsday Emergency Action Division. She offers higher movement speed than Craig but suffers from greater recoil, rewarding aggressive and mobile playstyles.
Lore[edit]
Before the apocalypse, Vanessa was a courier cyclist in London, infamous for threading traffic at breakneck speeds. Friends called her “The Human Pigeon” for her ability to get anywhere, anytime, with a mix of parkour and pedal power. Off the job, she split her nights between underground raves and rooftop runs.
When Hell broke loose, Vanessa didn’t run away — she ran through it. Witnesses recall her vaulting over buses and dropkicking an undead straight into a dustbin. D.E.A.D. scouts saw her natural agility and fearlessness, and quickly recruited her for rapid-response operations.
Though recoil control isn’t her strong suit, Vanessa’s mobility and daring tactics make her a deadly operator in the right hands.
