Iron Fang
Appearance
- Ironfang (Heavy Pistol)
- *“If subtlety had a muzzle brake.”*
Overview[edit]
The Ironfang is a heavy-caliber sidearm that trades comfort for clout. It hits harder than the basic pistols and stays snappy enough to matter in early rounds, but its small magazine and punchy recoil punish sloppy aim. Think of it as a pocket hand-cannon: land your shots and it pays you back.
Beast Upgrades[edit]
- Steelfang – Damage and mag size increase; slightly faster handling.
- Howitzer’s Cousin – Noticeable DPS bump and tighter drift; recoil kicks a bit more.
- Hand-Cannonballer – Final form; high damage and cycle speed make Ironfang a genuine mid-game carry (still reload-sensitive).
Tips[edit]
- Treat it like a mini marksman rifle: pace shots for accuracy and recoil recovery.
- Great for deleting priority targets early (sprinters/elites) without burning rifle ammo.
- Consider pairing with an SMG or AR for crowds; Ironfang excels at single-target bursts.
Trivia[edit]
- Early prototypes over-penetrated three targets; behaviour was toned down for balance.
- The beast chain names riff on increasingly absurd “big iron” energy.
